Daesung looked at Seunghyun, searching for a sign on his face showing that he was just joking. That he didn’t mean what he had just said. That…that he wasn’t going to leave Daesung just like that.
“Hyung…” Daesung felt his chest tighten, he couldn’t breathe properly. “Hyung please.”
Seunghyun’s expression remained cold and hard, his face revealing nothing, showing no emotion at all. Daesung couldn’t bear to look at the harsh blankness, but he couldn’t draw his eyes away from Seunghyun’s face either.
“Why?” Daesung whispered and his voice wavered. He squeezed his eyes shut as he felt the tears threatening to fall. “Why Seunghyun?”
The man sitting opposite of Daesung at the coffee table, the man to whom Daesung had given seven years of his life and love to, didn’t answer. He simply stood up, the chair’s leg screeching roughly as they scraped against the floor, and without looking at Daesung even once, left.
Daesung didn’t move. He couldn’t. His brain shut down, and his tears fell. Where did he go wrong? Where did they go wrong?
The questions repeated themselves in Daesung’s head for hours, yet he didn’t find any answer.
